Xiaomi Launching MIUI 7 with new Design and Features : Know Release Date and Features

Xiaomi is all set to launch new OS with spectacular new design and features which called MIUI 7, later this month.
The Chinese manufacturer teased the reveal date on Weibo, with a launch event scheduled in Beijing on August 13.

With Xiaomi announcing an iteration of MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0, it is possible MIUI 7 will be built atop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Not much else is known about the upcoming launch, with the latest rumors suggesting that the Mi 5 will be the first device to offer MIUI 7 out of the box. Given that the Mi 5 is expected to feature Snapdragon 820, it may be a while before we see the phone hitting retail availability.
