Android Distribution Report of November 2014

Google released the November months Android distribution report. Result is one in three devices runs on KitKat. Android 4.4 KitKat distribution number is up from 30.2 %. The KitKat share increase comes at the expense of Android Jelly Bean. The latter saw its share drop below 50% (it was 50.9% last month).


Shares of old version IceCream Sandwich dipped 0.7%. Gingerbread also dipped same.

Android 5.0 Lollipop is yet to appear on the distribution charts. We will have to wait another month to find out how big an entry the latest build will make.
