HTC Seeding Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OTA for HTC One M7 and One M8

HTC One M7 and one m8 GPE android 5.0.1 lollipop OTA update is live to download. HTC officially announced that HTC One M7 and HTC M8 getting the official Android 5.0.1 OTA update. HTC M8 and M7 users can update from Menu » Settings » About phone » system update.


HTC skipped Android 5.0 release for respected devices and they released the latest version of it. For the time being only the Google Play Editions of HTC One M7 and One M8 are getting this new firmware upgrade. The original One M7 and One M8 should be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade starting with early 2015.

The Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OTA Update is currently rolling out now and you should simply confirm the download and installation process for the phone to complete flashing process automatically. If the update notification hasn’t arrived yet, then you can go to Settings> About> Software Update and use this menu to check for new Android 5.0.1 firmware files.
